What’s going on
As you might have noticed, there was not update on this page for quite a while. Well, there certainly were things to write about but either I didn’t feel like ready for writing or there was not enough time. A lot of people asked what’s wrong, why I’m not showing up on the race events or local sessions.
It’s all very simple. In June, I went for a ride with friend, the problem was that I did not sleep well enough. Riding was cursed by the fact I was tired and also that I wanted to give a hard time to Zdeno. First two rides were ok, relaxing. Then I wanted to show up but in the gnarly section some root stole my front wheel, I’ve tried to balance it with the foot but it slid under my bike and I felt on my leg with full weight. After few miliseconds I woke up and realized that my shin with femur forms an angle which cannot be called as a physiological. But I did stand up and rode my bike again, it was ok, it did not hurt. But it wasn’t ok, at the lift I’ve tried to catch up with the seat and when I turned right my right knee left me alone in that. That was weird but it still did not hurt. But later in the car the knee started to protest and when I was changing the car in Boleslav, I’ve realized that I could not straighten up the leg. Nice. Only thing that cheered me up was an SMS from Zdeno saying: “It happens to me very rarely that in the gnarly root section I’m overtaken by guy riding a XC bike while I’m riding downhill one”.
At home, I put some ice on the knee and was waiting for things to come. In the morning, in the Budejovicka clinics my orthopedist wiggled with the knee and announced that I am the lucky winner of filling in the knee joint. Checking that with the needle showed up a beautiful 80ml of a substance, formerly known as blood. I ruptured something inside she said. Then sent me home and told me to come back in it would be causing trouble, I wasn’t very satisfied with the diagnose so after 10 days of pain I went to a different doctor and she sent me directly for the arthroscopy to check out what’s wrong. That was easy since then, the surgery confirmed the ruptured ACL. Next thing was the reconstruction and that happened 4 days ago. It went smooth and I can bent my knee about 90 degrees and straighten it up without problem, which fills me with good feeling, way better then some money in the bank or a lousy fame.
The views for the future are bright and pink, afterall everything went fine and if I won’t be lazy I will be fully functional again and will be doing all the very same things as rest of you. Again.

Budeš dobrej a pak potrápíme naše XCčka. Jinak to máš jak já, spadnu, koukám že mi nic není. Vymotávám se z kola a hle, já si nemůžu stoupnout….Jít… To bude naražený, no nebylo. Doktor mi po převezení řekl že má dvě zprávy, špatnou a dobrou. Špatná: “zlomil jste si pánev pane” a ta dobrá? “Buďte rád že to není roztříštěný”

A ještě jedna douška, neboť nezbývá než připomenout, ty malověrný Jiří, evidentně metafyzicky kráčející údolím stínů ve falešné víře v nesmrtelnost těla, spoléhajíce na kolo jež svým určením definitivně není zaměřeno na destruktivní drcení, kór DH tratí tažených pod Ještěd nezničitelnými místními zmutovanými šílenci, že my v té době tobě nabízeli vyžití veskrze plnohodnotné, na jiné a mnohem více zábavné trati, se skupinou lidí, co by jim tvá přítomnost duše štěstím pohladila, leč ty ne, ty ne…tys musel pokoušet štěstí a boží milost a pohár trpělivosti přetekl, jehož výsledkem se onen incident stal
…ještě mě sleduješ ?
Prostě měls jet s náma.

Toto mi bratře nedělej,
maminka náhodou mrkla na monitor, kde jsem nechal otevřený B-F a tam vidí: Sháním starší silničku …. Manas. Jsem poměrně šťastně ženat, lehce výdělečně činný, majitel střední reality,auto na lízink, ale hlavně těžce bojuju o každou novou blbost ohledně kola(kol). Vždycky mi to Renča schválí, ale povídá u toho: to už je poslední, že !? A teď najednou toto. Prý jak se podává žádost o rozvod ?
Tak to byla trochu úsměvná příhoda. Jinak přeju pevné zdraví a tydlety trampoty s kolenem nech nám o 2o let starším
